Trimble Ri - Firmware Installation & Compatability

Firmware Installation

To install Firmware onto the Ri you will need Trimble Installation Manager installed. If you do not have Trimble installation manager please refer to Trimble Installation Manager - Setup Guide

  1. Open Trimble Installation Manager
  2. Connect the Ri to the computer using the Hirose cable
  3. Click Optical & Scanning
  4. Click Ri

  5. Click Connect
  6. Choose which Firmware you want to install

  7. Click Install

  8. Click Update

Note: The blue Download icon text to the firmware version will save the .exe file to be used offline if needed.
