Trimble X7/X9 - Diagnostic Report

Requirements

Before creating a diagnostic report there will be some requirements that need to be met.

  1. The report must be run in an area where the scanner can’t be disturbed.
    1. No People 
    2. No strong vibrations
  2. You must use the Carbon fiber tripod legs to set the scanner on.
  3. You must have a battery with at least 50% or more charge.

Instructions

  1. Open Field Link and Turn on your scanner
  2. Select the Device menu icon
  3. Select the Scanner Icon on on the bottom left of the screen 
  4. Then select the Scanner that appears on the center list of the screen
    1. If the Scanner does not appear on the screen press the find button on the bottom of the screen
  5. Once the Scanner is selected press the Connect icon
  6. The scanner will connect then you will select the diagnostic icon on the bottom right of the screen

Overview

The scanner will go through the diagnostic process and a report will appear on the screen once it's completed. A list format will display the components that passed represented by the color GREEN and if any component failed it will display the color RED.

Now press the save button on the bottom right and a copy will be saved into your C: Drive on your tablet. Which can be found by opening the file explorer and following this path (Documents/Field Links/PROJECT NAME/Reports/Diagnostic Report)
